Five schools, Hickory Woods, Glengary, Meadowbrook, Keith Elementary Schools and WL Northern High School, each will have the revised end-of-year schedule below.
- The four elementary schools, Hickory Woods, Glengary, Meadowbrook and Keith will have a full day of school for students on Wednesday, June 11, and Thursday, June 12, will be a half-day for students.
- For Walled Lake Northern High School, the final exam schedule will change to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday or June 10, 11, and 12. Monday, June 9, will be a full day of school.
- All other schools will conclude the school year on Wednesday, June 11, with the scheduled half-day.
It is critical that the schools listed above have 60 percent attendance or better, on June 11 and 12, to have the days officially count for full funding. On previous make-up days, the State mandated 75 percent attendance for the District to receive full funding. A recently revised law states for this year, (because there are so many Districts with make-up days), the percent of attendance has been changed to 60 percent.
Thank ou for noting on your calendars this revised schedule for the conclusion of the school year.
