Spring is here! So where do we stand on make-up days after this record-breaking winter?
Five schools, Hickory Woods, Glengary, Meadowbrook, Keith Elementary Schools and WL Northern High School, each will have the revised end-of-year schedule below.
It is critical that the schools listed above have 60 percent attendance or better, on June 11 and 12, to have the days officially count for full funding. On previous make-up days, the State mandated 75 percent attendance for the District to receive full funding. A recently revised law states for this year, (because there are so many Districts with make-up days), the percent of attendance has been changed to 60 percent.
Thank ou for noting on your calendars this revised schedule for the conclusion of the school year.
Since spring is here and motorists are reverting to their swifter driving habits, please be aware of safety with our school buses.
